photos were taken on the Island of Tobago. After carefully comparing
the descriptions given in "Robinson Crusoe" with the possible
locations on the island, I concluded that these were the places which
best met the descriptions given by Daniel Defoe. He, in turn, had
drawn his information from the accounts of sailors and merchants who
had actually visited Tobago.
